oooooo, that palette is so gorgeous…wow. I like Paisley Rose the best but honestly they’re all nice.

Hang in there with the storm…I hope the power doesn’t go out on you! How is the moving-in process going this week?

I’m with ya on the Rose Bud as my fave. This seems like a great little palette to keep in the purse for touchups. If only there was a slide out copmartment for blusher, I’d be set!

RoseBud is my favourit too. But I’m still not digging this palette, the lipsticks look too sheer for my liking.

I like Rose Garden and Paisley Rose because they are the most pigmented and I like the pinks. Are they buildable to get a more opaque finish? Ahh at last winter is arriving with rainy season in the west coast. But I do love the smell of rain and thunder and lightning. I loving watching storms because I think it is romantic.

Another vote for Rose bud! Mostly because it’s the most opaque out of all of them.

Sorry to hear about the weather. I believe it rained last night here in Southern Cali and it’s been on and off drizzle [or as I used to say as a kid 'sprinkling'] with cloudy grey skies. Really makes a girl get lazy..

I’m definitely with ya on Rose Bud — how pretty! The shadows didn’t exactly win me over, but these lip shades are all simply gorgeous!

    Hi Abby,

The storm is momentarily breaking. The power almost went out once… hopefully it’ll stay on!

As for moving, it’s still overwhelming, but not half as challenging as it was last week. There’s still boxes all over the place, plus, I still have to buy curtains. The place is slowly but surely getting there, though. :)

How’s your week going so far?

  12. 12. Karen said, on October 13th, 2009:

    Hi Kajal Couture,

Oh yah, a blush would make this a fantastic travel palette. :)

  13. 13. Karen said, on October 13th, 2009:

    Hi Gio,

Yes, the lippies are very nude and natural.

At least other lines like MAC will have more colorful stuff, right?

  14. 14. Karen said, on October 13th, 2009:

    Hi Amy,

They’re buildable, but I prefer them more as a sheer wash. :)

    Hi Hazel,

LOL! You better adopt it then!

  16. 16. Karen said, on October 13th, 2009:

    Hi Tavia,

I know you’re a pink lipstick kinda girl!

Hmm, to bump up the vibrancy I might try layering them beneath a pink liner like MAC Pink Treat.

    Hi Meream,

I’ll try to do a FOTD soon!

    Hi Blovet Beauty,

    Yeah, I like them too!

    Hi Stephie,

    LOL, I still say “sprinkling.”

I feel ya pain about the lazy! I have so many errands to do but the sideways rain makes me want to stay in and drink hot cocoa.

Barefoot shimmer, but this palette still doesn’t draw me. I prefer higher pigmentation that can be sheered out.
