You ever play “Fill the Online Shopping Cart”?
It’s one of my favorite games. 🙂 I’ve been playing it over at the BECCA website this afternoon. They’re running a Friends & Family sale. Just started this morning. Get 20% off any $50 purchase at beccacosmetics.com/us using promo code SPRINGFF14.
The sale ends next Tuesday (June 3, at midnight PST), so you still have time to play “Fill the Online Shopping Cart” if you’re interested.
I haven’t pulled the trigger yet on anything, but I have filled, emptied, and then filled my cart again with staples like Ever-Matte Shine Proof Foundation, while I do a little more research on some things, like the new BECCA Beach Tint Shimmer Souffles ($27 each).
I ran over to Sephora to have a look at them and swatch a couple things.
GURL, these look really cute. The marbled pattern on the pots totally reminds me of the Hourglass Ambient Blushes. Instead of a powder, though, the Shimmer Souffles have a cream formula.
Each one combines an existing shade in the BECCA Beach Tint line with one of BECCA’s Shimmering Skin Perfector highlighters.
Kind of genius, really.
In a way, it’s like you’re getting four things in every pot — a powder to add a pop of color to your cheeks, a stain for staying power, an illuminating highlighter for that summer glow, and a cream formula for a flawless finish.
Mmm… Guava, papaya and lychee… So juicy.
I’m only seeing two of the shades available now on the BECCA website — Lychee/Opal (bubblegum pink with a golden opal) and Fig/Opal (nude with a golden opal).
Papaya/Topaz (a bright tangerine red with a golden bronze), Watermelon/Moonstone (a coral red with a pale gold), Guava/Moonstone (a coral with a pale gold) and Raspberry/Opal (a raspberry with a golden opal) are listed as unavailable, but you know how that goes. Things are gone one minute and back the next.
Speaking of great juicy things, there were a LOT more of these Trader Joe’s Soft and Juicy Mandarins yesterday before I snapped this pic.
I brought these home from TJ’s a few days ago, and OMG! So delicious… They’re like dried fruit crack! I have to portion them out and then hide the bag somewhere I can’t see it because I could easily eat all of them in one sitting.
If you haven’t had them before, you need to rectify that situation ASAP, because they’re hella good. That’s all I’m sayin’.

OMG! I could spend a small fortune on their products!

omg how have I not seen the dried mandarin oranges before?? Must try! And hahaha I love this game, the Becca souffles are gorgeous but I’m wondering if they’re a tad too shimmery for my summer routine. So pretty to look at though!
Fancie says
These are all so beautiful! I wish I could have them all lol

I really want those Souffles but I haven’t seen them in person yet so I don’t know which one to pick, they all look so pretty. Speaking of Becca, have you ever tried their Poreless Primer? I got a big sample at Sephora and I have been using it all the time, I absolutely love it, keeps your face matte all day.
Karen says
I have! I liked it but I prefer MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance a bit more, because I feel like it’s easier for me to blend stuff on top of it.
Have you tried any BECCA foundations? They are AMAZE-BALLS!
Marina(Makeup4all) says
I was SO excited when I first saw the sneaky photo of these back in Winter at BECCA’s Instagram. Can’t wait to try them.
And those mandarins, they do look yummy!

Omigosh, I know that game well, and it’s taking all my willpower not to play it with those gorgeous shimmer cream blushes from Becca!
Trude says
Hmmm might have to check out the sale, I’m totally addicted to Becca’s matte foundation after trying a bunch of other ones (mostly rejected because I’m too pale for their lightest color!). Really love the formula, it’s matte without being too heavy. So BIG thank you for the recommendation, because I wouldn’t have tried it without you! 🙂

Aghh. For the past 24 hours I’ve been trying to track down the highlighter in Opal (powder) but have not been able to find it ANYWHERE. And supposedly, they won’t be back in stock for at least a couple of weeks. I wonder if these would make a good replacement?
Sylirael says
Hehe, I’ve been playing that game recently with a couple of different brands 😉 Those shimmer souffles look so cute! The colours are super pretty too – I wish we had BECCA here! 🙂
