Whenever I leave the house wearing makeup but without mascara, it never looks quite right. This is going to sound so cliché, but I feel naked without it! It’s like I don’t have pants on. It’s that serious.
It’s like a next-level co-dependency thing. If I were to ever forget to bring mascara with me on a trip, the first thing I’d do is a) freak out, then b) drop everything and run to the nearest makeup counter or drugstore.
That’s why I usually roll with multiple tubes.
You know… Just in case.
Plus, they do different things. I have one mascara for straight-up curl and length (Urban Decay Cannonball), one for curl and separation (NARS Audacious), one for intense volume (L’Oreal Feline Noir), and ANOTHER mascara that I use solely for my lower lash lines (It Cosmetics Tightline).
And sometimes I like to wear them in combos, like, I’ll apply one layer on top of the other, or I’ll use one just for the tips…
OK, I know how this sounds (LOL!), but I won’t make excuses for it. I heart mascara, and mascara hearts me! ?
Our love is unconditional… Mascara is always there for me, and it’s dependable. I know that it’ll make me look perkier and more awake, just like kelly green and the Mascara Hearts Me Tee.
I think the heathering gives it a vintage look, and I really love how this shirt drapes. It isn't one of those super tight shirts, so if I can't resist that extra slice of pizza, hey, this shirt is forgiving like that.

With my blonde eyelashes, I’m so with you. People think I’m just looking especially tired or sickly without it. ? Just another shirt to add to my ever growing cart…

Mascara does not [heart] me but I [heart] the color of this tee!!!!!!

Once, I did my makeup for work, but forgot to put on mascara (I really don’t know how that could happen). Of course I ran to the nearest drugstore during my lunchbreak!
Mascara just makes ALL the difference.

I did that once too! Must’ve been half asleep still!
Carolina Braina says
Yeah, that must’ve been the case with me, too! 😉

One year we went out for New Year’s Eve dinner and in the car I realized I was rushed so much getting ready that I forgot mascara. Dear Husband tried to tell me I looked ok, was still beautiful, etc. I didn’t buy it for a second. Luckily there was a drugstore on the corner of the street where the restaurant was. I made Dear Husband get the table while I ran in and bought a tube of L’Oreal. Ripped it open the second I got out of the store and applied it using the tiny mirror in my purse, in the dark. At the time I thought to myself, “This must be what junkies feel like when they need a fix.” Yup, I’m a mascara junkie.

I also feel naked without mascara! And I don’t care if they take forever to remove. I think any makeup junkie is like that. Haha!

Oooh another fun one! And yeah, there is no life without mascara, lol.

I share your mascara love, as you know! And I have to say that, despite not being waterproof, Too Cool for School Dinoplatz Escalator has been standing up to some serious ugly crying lately. If you haven’t seen my fb post, the kitty love of my life is missing. Not coping well. 🙁

Mascara is so important! I don’t feel like an eye look is quite right without it!
I’ve been using CoverGirl Lashblast Fusion, it works pretty well. I love the look of Benefit’s They’re Real, but it’s so damn hard to remove!
Ruth says
I also love They’re Real but I use Lush’s 9-5 make up remover and it takes this mascara off so easily and doesn’t leave any behind.
