KAREN: Ryan, sweetheart, could you please do my back? Mama doesn’t want to burn…
RYAN: Sure, babe.
KAREN: Oh! Hi! How’s the vacation going? Hot enough for ya?
YOU: I’m burning up!
KAREN: You two make such a cute couple. I was just asking RyGos to sunscreen my back. What are you and J-Ren doing?
YOU: Just cruising the beach, ya know, catchin’ some rays.
KAREN: Fun! Wasn’t that beachside buffet this morning dee-vine? I just love breakfast in Saint-Tropez…
YOU: Me too!
Le sigh…
Well, I may not not be kickin’ it old-school with RyGos at a five-star beach resort, but at least I can look the part and pretend with the Too Faced Cosmetics summer collection. 🙂
Inspiration: the French Riviera. We’re talking first class beachside cabanas, Chanel sunglasses and Cristal. Oui-oui, mademoiselle!
LOL!
The release just docked at Too Faced counters and online this week with four new palettes and a new line of liquid lipsticks, codename Melted.
Here are pics and swatches of the four palettes for now, and we’ll do the Melted lippies next week.
I’ll be testing these and getting more acquainted with them this weekend, so check back next week for reviews.

I need that A La Mode Eyes palette!! It looks gorgeous
Andrea says
So… Random, and I’m sure you know this, but maybe not. Ever hear of the fact that J-Ren was a makeup artist? My mind was BLOWN.
Karen says
Yes! I saw the clip of him on Ellen. “Brows, lashes, lips…frame the face.” LOL
I wonder what line he worked for! I can see him in MAC black for some reason.

Le sigh. I would love to own more of the Too Faced bronzer collection, particularly Sun Bunny and the Pink Leopard Bronzer. The A La Mode eyeshadows remind me a bit of the Pretty Rebel palette. I just got another navy eyeshadow in my collection, but I need to add a hot pink for sure. Can’t wait to see what shades you put together!
Rhea says
The colors look so particular for summer! And that packaging is just plain gorgeous. Very sparkly though.:/ hmmm

I am lovinggggg the La mode Palette! 🙂
Jae says
Love the bronzer palette! Also, I’m glad they re-vamped the neutral palette. Your swatches look so nice. I tried so hard to love the old version, but it was way too glittery. I’ll have to check this out in person and see how I like this version.
Agata says
This eyeshadow palette looks stunning. I gotta have it!

Such fun packaging! I really like A La Mode Eyes Palette from this collection.
Sylirael says
The brow kit intrigues me, and the pink shadow in the palette is glorious! Too Faced is kind of hard to get here though, unfortunately…
meredith says
A la mode eyes might have to come home with me. And maybe the bronzer pallette too.
Trista says
I’m in love with the bronzer palette. I need to buy it!
Kim says
I already ordered the natural eye palette from sephora. The original was my all time favorite shadow palette amd the 2 new colors look way better than the colors they are replacing. Im ao excited for it!

I saw the A La Mode eyeshadow palette at my local Ulta on Monday and snapped it up, it looked so pretty 🙂 I am really liking it, even though a lot of the colors are warmer than what I usually go for. The colors from different rows coordinate surprisingly well. I find I can use fuschia Monaco color (which is similar to the one in the Pretty Rebel palette) with peachy Jardin. They all go on smoothly, without fallout, and stay on all day for me (I do always prime my lids first), and the glitter is not obnoxious. I can even use the shade Heaven as a base color and it makes my crepe-y lids look less crepe-y; what look like big chunks of glitter while I’m putting it on settle down and just sparkle a little here and there. I think I’ll use this palette a lot for fun spring and summer looks, especially as it works well with either warm- or cool-toned cheek and lip colors.
Fran says
Oops! When I wrote “Heaven” I should have written “St. Tropez.” I also swatched the new Natural palette and the colors look beautiful and feel so smooth and creamy, it’s calling to me too!

These palettes look so nice I’m loving the neutral eye one.

Apparently J Ren worked at a Lancôme counter (as per an article in Elle). And yes, mind blown :).
Happy Caturday!

ooohhh Karen!! I am so tempted and torn…I love the palettes but I am also looking forward to Estee Lauders Bronze Goddess collection. Which one to choose? I really should not be buying anymore make up but….I am going to Europe in May and do not know what to take with me. HELP!!!
Natasha P. says
Ahh, that Cannes, Soleil & Jardin in the A La Mode palette are to die for!
Danielle says
A la Mode looks great! And the quality seems much better than last summer’s Summer Eyes palette.
Fancie says
I need another palette like I need a hole in the head but man A La Mode looks so nice. I love the color selection!

Beautiful swatches, thank you!

R-E-A-L-L-Y digging the A La Mode palette. I’m particularly intrigued by the darkest colors on the bottom row bc I don’t have anything like them. But I also love that I can play around with neutral looks, and these colors seem like they’ll play nicely with my Naked 3 palette. Haha!
Judith says
The natural palette would probably look nice on my NW20 skin. I have to check it out
Cindy says
I am looking for an awesome travel makeup palette, one of these may take the bite!
