Very helpful, Karen! I agree completely with everything that was said. I’ve been a blogger for seven years (not necessarily makeup blogging, but blogging for legal blogs and such) and I couldn’t agree. One of the best things I learned from the legal blog I wrote for, was to interact with your readers by posting lots of pictures (of course, ones you have the rights to post), implementing video, and keeping posts short, sweet and to the point.

Bottom Line: Nobody wants to read blocks of text when they could watch a video or see photos!
