Deep Discounts on Stila Cosmetics with

Published in: Beauty Tips, Makeup, News

Do you remember the Stila fall chocolate eye shadow palette ($40) I was drooling over a few weeks ago? Well, I was surfing the web last night and stumbled upon a slightly stripped down version of it on sale at for $12.80.

Where the heck has Beautycrunch been all my life? Is it new, or have I just been sleeping under a rock?

As far as I can tell (saw numerous references to it on Makeup Alley and YouTube), the company’s selling legitimate products, but I admit the low prices made me wonder.

Their version of the chocolate palette doesn’t include the Lip Glaze ($22 if purchased separately) or Major Lash Mascara ($8.50 if purchased separately), which accompany the original $40 Stila palette, but if what you really want are the palette’s blush and the three eye shadows ($18 per pan if purchased separately), you can skip the stuff you wouldn’t use anyway and walk away with 4 products for $20.75 (after $7.95 shipping and handling).

And Beautycrunch has lots of other fab Stila stuff, among other brands, at 50-70% off. Needless to say, I stayed up late e-window shopping and filling my cart. πŸ™‚

Bear in mind that all Beautycrunch sales are final unless your order arrives damaged. Depending on how badly you want a given product, the $savings could be worth the risk.

Right now, Ulta is selling the complete palette, with Lip Glaze and Mascara, on sale for $34.50 ($38 minus $3.50 discount on purchases over $10).

A few other Stila products caught my eye: the $4 holiday three eye shadow pan compact (currently selling on the Stila website for $8), a $6.50 refillable 4 pan eye shadow compact (on sale on Stila‘s website for $16), $11 Creme Bouquet purse spray and a $15.20 Front Cover Look No. 3 limited edition eye and cheek palette.

I guess I’m glad I found Beautycrunch in time for the holidays. I mean, the part of me that loves makeup is glad, but the part that pays the credit card bills won’t take my calls. πŸ™‚

Beautycruch will be my go-to Stila stocking stuffer resource, for sure.

Actually, last night I pulled a shop-and-drop with my Beautycrunch cart. That’s what I call it when I fill my e-cart with hundreds of dollars worth of stuff and then proceed through the checkout process until the very last screen where you’re asked to submit your order. Immediately before clicking that final Submit, I empty my cart, step away from the computer and go eat ice cream, ha!

Chocolate ice cream… The Stila palette will have to wait for now.

After Beautycrunching I did some reading and watched some TV. For dinner we had pizza and beer.

Hope you’re enjoying your weekend so far. πŸ™‚

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

P.S. You know where I’ll be tonight at 8 — in front of the tube watching the three-hour original Lifetime movie event, Coco Chanel. I’m so there!

Good job Karen! The force is still with you πŸ˜€

I do that all the time to satisfy my inner lemming: go to a website, fill up the cart, proceed to pay, and then walk out at the last minute. It’s good for the soul, I think. Thank you for introducing me to this website, you know I live in a place that has no Sephora and Nordies so I need this! Just finished eating dinner as well, some weird concoction to satisfy my inner beast πŸ™‚

Ooo, I think I’ll be hitting up that site tonight. hehe I do something similar to you. I fill my cart with a bunch of stuff, then I go through it to see what I really need or really want and what I can wait for. Then I log out and wait for the next day or a couple of days and go back on. Then I either order it or empty the cart. haha Anywho, this site will be great since there are birthdays and Christmas coming up. I can treat myself to a birthday gift too! hehe

  8. Karen says:

    Hi Marisol,

It is! I think it’s my new addiction. What did you think of the Chanel movie last night?

I know! Don’t you love getting makeup for a good price?

  12. Karen says:

    Hi Vera,

    Happy early birthday!

I’m also looking forward to buying presents for people on that site. I always do the “one for you, one for me,” thing though, LOL!

I’ve been soooooo looking forward to visiting this site, but i’ve tried going to it almost everyday for the last week or so… and for some reason my browser always says the URL can’t be retrieved? Has anyone else had problems trying to access the site?

  14. lindsay says:

I’m definately bookmarking that site, I just wish they had more of a variety of brands.

So I’ve been using my Anna Sui eyeliner for a the past half a year or so, and I want to try something new. Nothing liquid or “automatic sharpening” Any suggestions?

  15. Asta says:

I just bought a bunch of stuff on here, for myself and for stocking stuffers. Now I have to choose what to keep…

  16. April says:

I just wanted to let you know that I got an email directly from Stila when Beautycrunch was launching, saying that it was a legitimate site and the only site that Stila approves their merchandise to be sold on at a discount! I spoke with the beautycrunch guy (Ken) and he said Stila sends their discontinued stuff directly to them! I’ve ordered from them 4 times now, and everything has been great!!

  17. April says:

Oh, I found the email if you would like me to forward it to you!

  18. I recently heard about, too! man I always stay up too late filling up my ecarts and then right before the final step where the credit card actually goes through – I deny it! It does feel oh so good to spend countless hours filling up my ecarts though! Sometimes, I do end up going through with it – sometimes too many. =/

  19. Elle says:

And I thought I was the only one who did the “shop-and-drop” online. My best shopping friend always does that…and I think I’m the only person who can put up with it! She’ll literally walk through a store holding something for 30 minutes, and then drop it at the last minute. I do more of that online. πŸ˜‰

Thanks for the find, Karen! This will definitely be good for my broke self around the holidays…

  20. Faye says:

Hey Karen, beautycrunch is legit! I’ve purchased from them before. The only thing is that shipping takes a while, but at those prices, who cares?

  21. grace says:

at nordstrom rack they have stila cosmetics at half price since they will not be selling them any longer at nordstroms…all the brushes, some eyepots, eyeshadow sets… etc..

  22. sammie says:

does anyone know of other websites that sell stuff like beautycrunch?
