Published in: Beauty Tips, Makeup Tips/How To, News

To put it mildly, there’s gold in them thar hills! You name the store, they’ve got a Black Friday sale. With the down economy, companies are desperate to separate us from our savings, but I have a feeling these aren’t necessarily the best deals we’ll see. I think the offers will get better over the next few weeks as Christmas nears…

Happy Black Friday! I posted a whole bunch o’ coupon codes on my blog too! This year it seems like the discounts are much better. However, I’m determined to keep my money in my pocket. Hope you have a good time shopping!

  3. Yikes, I think today I am going to actually brave the crowds and do some shopping! I normally never do it in person on Black Friday (online only) but what the hey. Of course I always end up seeing more stuff I want rather than gifts for others. 🙂

Piffle! Canada doesn’t have Black Friday (which sounds so ominous you know) so the Sephora discounts and whatnot don’t apply to us Northerners. *sigh*

  5. Brittany says:

I actually just woke up from going out last night/this morning.

I was one of those crazy people that stood in lines for hours, but I can say, I got a nice new digital camera for like half price, that I normally couldn’t afford..and I hit up Bath and Body Works, because, well, their VIP bag or whatever it’s called kept telling me to buy it 😛

  6. Sylvie says: is offering 20% off on coats and outerwear. Why do I know that, because I’m debating if I should get a new coat or not (even though I don’t forcibly *NEED* one). Oh jeeze. I’m going nuts.

  7. nosh says:

I got the bath and body works VIP bag too 🙂 But I got it online 😛 I hate crowds!

  8. Katee says:

OMG just got home from the mall. Went with my boyfriend, we could not find anywhere to park. After 20 minutes of driving around in the parking lot madness we left.

Yah… I’m going to try and squirrel away some moolah, too, although I’ve very tempted by all the sales. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! 🙂

    Hi Sylvie,

Thanks for sharing. I’ve never shopped on that site, but I have a friend that loves it. I”ll pass this info on to her. 🙂

    Hi Nosh,

Nice! I hate shopping when there’s a huge crowd, too. But back in the day when I worked at the mall I did enjoy being there during the Christmas season…

I went to Macys at Union Square on Friday and it took me almost 2.5 hours to get there from Northern Marin. It wasn’t as bad as it sounds. I found parking very easily. I didn’t buy anything for me but for my sister I got her a peacoat.
