So last night’s SF ghost tour was a lot of fun. I learned all about SF’s checkered preternatural past, including one friendly ghost, once the headmistress of a girl’s school circa 1900 (now a beautifully restored hotel), who sometimes tucks the hotel’s guests in to sleep.
I’ll post pictures soon. Hope you’re having a nice Sunday morning.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

I’m thinking about getting my boyfriend to help me just BUILD a storage!! I like keeping things in drawers not on top of counters, so something with layers and dividers would be helpful

hey- Michele here chiming in. el hub is redoing outside around the pool.
i clean my brushes with shampoo. Suave clarity is cheap and works well. Soak them, then rinse well and air dry. Go through old ones and toss.
I stand them up in retired glasses. It gives me an excuse to buy a new set from Target.
Enjoy the sun while it lasts.

Hi Yarisse,
Sure! Do you plan on trying any of the storage ideas from the posts?
6. Karen said, on April 19th, 2009:
Hi Jessica,
Aw, what a nice boyfriend! That’s cool that he has the skills to build something like that for you.
I always wanted to take wood shop classes because I think building is cool… I guess it’s probably better that I never got around to it, as I’m terribly clumsy.
Hope you’re having a nice weekend so far!

Hi Karen!
Well, actually I am going to buy those wooden boxes from IKEA and also make my own brush stands combining a vase and decorative sand, both also from IKEA.
I had another idea before so I spent almost all night searching the internet for a craftstore nearby or online but I had no luck, so IKEA is my chance to finally get my messy collection properly organized

O wow – I totally use tackle boxes for my makeup too! Or craft boxes. I really like the ones from snapware
