This Pixi’s an Early Bird

Did I tell ya that I’m trying this new thing where I wake up at 4:30 in the morning?! I’m going to see if I can turn myself into an early bird. I’m definitely NOT a morning person, but I love the idea of getting lots of stuff done before sunrise. We’ll see how long it lasts…

Maybe I should wear the new Pixi Early Bird Kit ($34) to commemorate this new experiment. 🙂

You can find the Early Bird Kit at Target, target.com and pixibeauty.com.

4.30, huh? What time do you go to bed? I am a night owl so when I have to get up at 4 am for work on the weekends it’s a huge struggle.

Oh WOW, 4:30?! I can’t even wake up at 7:30! I admire your new strategie, sounds really good, getting things done before sunrise! At what time will you going to bed then? The Pixi palette looks beautiful 🙂

I often wake up around 4 – 5am (not really on purpose, it’s just what my body wants to do). I really like it – the world is so quiet and you really can get a lot done!

I have enough trouble getting up at 9AM, but I take night classes…

In my dream world, I wake up at 4.30, brew a pot of tea, read and respond to work e-mails, write for an hour, then go to gym at 6am, workout for an hour and get to work by 10am. In reality, I wake up at 6.30am and get to work by 9.30am with no gym in between 🙁

You’re inspiring me to try the 4.30am route though 🙂

Well I work full time – 9 to 6 so I wake up early. Max by 6:30 AM.

The colors in this palette are lovely, I love subtle colors. Plus it has everything here. Eye shadows, bronzer, blush. I wonder what’s the size when it’s folded & held in hand. Can we have a picture of that too? 🙂

I have this as I’m a big fan of Pixi for everyday wear (I am also pale as all get out, these two facts are correlated) – but for the life of me I still can’t figure out what the middle row of beige-colored matte shadows are for!

I found the blushes and contour shades awesome for pale skin, the eyeshadows soso but good for work, and whatever those things are? No idea. 😛

4:30! Wow! Maybe I should try that- there never seems to be enough time in the day. I really like that pixie pallet. Such pretty colors!

I love waking up at 4:30 or 5:00- before anyone else in my house. So relaxing and it’s my favorite time of the day.

    I have a hard time getting up at 8! I can’t even imagine 4:30.

As for the palette, one of my favorite things about it is that it’s all pressed powder. They didn’t sneak in any creams or glosses. I like that.

You’re crazy! I had to get up at 7:40 and I was already cranky about that, lol 🙂

EEK, that’s too early and I’m an early bird! I haven’t tried Pixi… is this the target line?

That kit looks great for neutrals and reaching for something quick in the mornings. I wake up at 430am for work, my shifts currently are 7am to 7pm, though I have done every shift offered and did nights for several years before switching to days (night shift takes years off your life). I sleep in till about 8am, I’m not really much for early mornings unless I HAVE to be up. Kudos to you for trying to make it work, though!

I’m still up at 4:30 most days!! 😛 But I REALLY need to fix my sleep schedule–it’s starting to get out of control! I need more sleep!!! This Pixi palette is pretty. I had never tried anything from Pixi before but I bought some shadows several months ago and the quality is definitely not bad! I might have to check this palette out!

I considered picking this up today while in Target–I’m having to replace some of my eye makeup, moisturizers, and contact lens container because I wound up getting pinkeye from visiting nieces and nephews at Thanksgiving. It’s smaller than I expected for a palette, but the neutrals would replace what I am now short on.

Oh, wow! Good for you on the early wake up. I just can’t get to bed early enough to feel good about getting up early. I’m a 5:50 AM (workday) rising gal and it’s painful. There’s not much I enjoy more than sleeping in. 🙂 I think it’s awesome if it works for you, though. I’m sure you’ll be amazed by how much you can get accomplished!
